3200 Block of Mission College Blvd.
Two weeks ago, a woman purchased amusement park tickets after responding to an on-line posting. The tickets proved to be fake. When she saw the same ad again, the woman set up a meeting with the seller and called SCPD. The seller was arrested when he showed up for the meeting.

Domestic Violence
Location: 2600 Block of Keystone
Officers responded to a domestic violence incident. During an argument, the boyfriend grabbed the female victim, leaving scratches on her arm. The suspect was arrested and booked into County Jail.

Monday, August 13th, 2012

Weapons/Drug Arrest
Location: Washington & El Camino Real
During a pedestrian stop, the suspect was found to be concealing an 8 ½ inch “billy club” under his clothes. He was also in possession of methamphetamine.

Tuesday, August 14th, 2012

Location: 2300 Block of Harrison St.
When a resident returned home he found that an unknown suspect(s) had pried open his interior garage door and ransacked several rooms. Pry marks were found on several doors and the side gate to the back yard was open. An investigation is on going.

2400 Block of Condensa St.
Officers responded to the report of a burglary at a large unoccupied commercial building. Security personnel had observed two suspects manipulating the surveillance cameras. An interior motion detector sensor alarm was also activated. Officers found a side door propped open, but no suspects were located following a lengthy search.

Vehicle Theft
3300 Block of Mathew St.
A truck and trailer containing over 250 solar panels was stolen from a construction project. Both were located in an industrial area when reported as an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was released to the owner’s representative who found that the only item missing from the truck was a pallet jack.

El Camino Real & Flora Vista
Officer Bell stopped a vehicle that was being driven with just three tires and found that the driver was DUI. The vehicle was determined to be stolen and the driver arrested.

Domestic Violence
900 Block of Maryann Drive
A couple got into an argument that became physical. The male suspect chased his girlfriend outside and forced her back into their residence. During the assault, the suspect briefly choked the victim and prevented her from leaving or calling for help. As a result of the assault, the victim had scratches and bruises. The suspect was arrested and booked into County Jail.

Drug Arrest
1700 Block of Ravizza Avenue
Officers responded to the report of a man loitering near the bushes in front of a residence. When the man was located he attempted to provide officers with a false name, due to his outstanding warrants. His identity was confirmed at the Police Department, where he was found to be in possession of drugs and a probation hold was initiated.

A woman was arrested after she placed four items of clothing in her purse, then left a department store without paying for the merchandise.

A witness followed a vehicle that was being driven erratically and called the Police Department to report where the car was located. Officers arrived and arrested the driver after finding him to be DUI.
