The 31st Annual National Night Out will culminate on Tuesday, August 5th. National Night Out is a program created by the National Association of Town Watch and organized locally by the Santa Clara Police Department.
National Night Out is designed to increase awareness of crime prevention programs and strengthen neighborhood spirit by creating a positive police and community partnership.
On Tuesday, August 5th from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. residents neighborhoods throughout Santa Clara and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on the outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors, police and the fire department to promote a neighborhood unit against crime.
