2120 Walsh Avenue An officer was dispatched to American Legion Post 564 at 2120 Walsh Avenue to investigate a reported fraud. The previous evening, the Bingo hall was full to capacity with 148 players. The following morning, counterfeit twenty dollar bills were discovered and reported to police. The suspect(s) remain at large.

1000 Block of Leith Avenue Unknown suspect(s) forcibly kicked in the front door to the residence, located on the 1000 block of Leith Avenue. The home was ransacked and items were stolen. The suspect(s) fled the scene through the back slider door and have not been located.

Stolen Vehicle
Davis Street and McKendrie Street, San Jose An officer located a stolen vehicle at Sherwood Avenue at Morris Court. Surveillance was established on the vehicle. Approximately 1.5 hours later, two suspects, one male and one female, occupied the vehicle and drove to San Jose. Officers were able to take the suspects into custody on Davis Street, near McKendrie Street. The female suspect was on probation. Both suspects were transported to County jail.

600 Block of Hubbard Avenue An adult care representative contacted dispatch regarding a male suspect threatening his father's life while armed with a handgun. SCPD’s Special Response Unit and Hostage Negotiation Teams formed a perimeter around the residence on the 600 block of Hubbard Avenue. Meanwhile, neighbors and individuals at the nearby swimming pool and polling center were advised to shelter in place. Soon after negotiators contacted the suspect, he surrendered without incident and was transported to County jail.

Indecent Exposure
2635 Homestead Road On May 2, 2014 at approximately 1945 hours, an indecent exposure occurred in Santa Clara’s Central Park Library, located at 2635 Homestead Road. The victim alerted a witness and library staff. On June 3, 2014 at approximately 1531 hours, the same suspect returned to the library. The male suspect was identified, questioned and released at the scene.

Driving Under the Influence
Homestead Road and Lawrence Expressway A female suspect was stopped for excessive speed on Homestead Road near Lawrence Expressway. The suspect displayed objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication and failed to perform a series of Field Sobriety Tests as instructed. She was arrested.

Warrant Arrest
Monroe Street and San Tomas Expressway At approximately 0155 hours, an officer observed a vehicle parked near Monroe Street and San Tomas Expressway, with the rear loading door of the vehicle open. This was suspicious given the vehicle was next to an open construction site. A Records check revealed the male suspect had a no bail warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to County jail. A security check of the construction site showed no signs of forced entry or theft.

Wincherster Blvd. and Forest Avenue A male bicyclist was stopped for not having a light on his bicycle during darkness. The suspect displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect was arrested.

Drug Arrest
De La Cruz Blvd. and Laurelwood Drive A male motorist was stopped for throwing a lit cigarette from his vehicle and erratic driving. The suspect was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and possessed methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested and transported to County jail.
