Drug Arrest
2600 Block of The Alameda
An Officer contacted two subjects, one male and one female, in front of Safeway. The male subject was on active searchable probation and in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested, cited for the violation and later released from the temporary holding facility.

900 Block of Garrity Way
Several Officers responded to the 900 block of Garrity Way on a report that two suspects entered a garage and fled with multiple bicycles. The suspects remain at large.

Warrant Arrest – Felony
Lick Mill Boulevard / Hope Drive
On the way to the above call, an Officer noticed a male subject riding a bicycle near the victim’s home. The Officer conducted an investigative stop and through a records check learned the individual had a no-bail warrant. He was arrested and transported to the County jail.

2000 Block of El Camino Real
On December 13, two male suspects entered Kelly-Moore Paints and used counterfeit bills to pay for their merchandise. This incident went unreported. The suspects returned to the business on December 17 at approximately 0846 and their attempt to purchase items with a counterfeit bill was denied by store personnel. At approximately 1020 hours, the suspects returned to the store parking lot. The store manager called SCPD to report the incidents.

A Records check revealed subject #1 had a no bail warrant for numerous felony charges and was on probation. Both suspects were in possession of several counterfeit bills and a controlled substance. As a result, both individuals were arrested and transported to the County jail.

Drug Arrest
2100 Block of Tasman Drive
A Riverwood Grove Apartments’ resident reported a suspicious male walking through the carport and looking inside parked vehicles. Officers located the male subject near a vehicle on Calle de Escuela. After asking him a few questions, the subject took off running. Officers caught the subject at the north end of the Ulistac Natural Area. The subject was arrested for possessing a controlled substance, resisting arrest and a probation violation.

600 Block of Flannery Street
Two male suspects entered a home through a side door on the 600 block of Flannery Street. The suspects ransacked and burglarized the home before fleeing. Officers responded and could not locate the suspects. The scene was processed for evidence. An investigation is ongoing.

Drug Arrest
Granada Avenue / Granada Court
An Officer stopped a male suspect for driving erratically on Granada Avenue near Granada Court. After a brief investigation, the Officer found the suspect to be in possession of a controlled substance and a large amount of cash. The suspect was arrested and transported to the County jail.

NOTE: A sobriety checkpoint was conducted on Saratoga Avenue at Stevens Creek Boulevard on December 20. From 9:30pm-2:30am, 681 vehicles traveled through the checkpoint resulting in one Driving Under the Influence (DUI) arrest, 15 citations and 4 towed vehicles.

The national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is led by the California Office of Traffic Safety, which funds the campaign through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office manages this funding among the 13 law enforcement agencies within Santa Clara County.

Vehicle Theft
4750 Lick Mill Boulevard
Officers responded to a disturbance call near Lick Mill Park. Upon arrival, the suspects fled on foot. Although the suspects were not located, the vehicle they left behind was reported stolen.
