Location: 2610 El Camino Real
Officers were sent on a report of a suspicious man at Save Mart. On arrival, the officers contacted the man. He complained of chest pains and the officers determined he was also under the influence of a controlled substance. The man was transported to a local hospital and released with notice to appear in court.

Location: Great America Pkwy. & Old Glory
A witness reported a motorist collided into a fire hydrant and fled south on Great America Pkwy. Officer located the motorist in the area of Lawrence Exwy. and Highway 237. The officers determined the male motorist was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. The man was arrested and transported to the police department for processing.

A male motorist was stopped for an unsafe turning movement. Upon contact, the officers learned the man had an outstanding arrest warrant for reckless driving. The man also had a suspended driver’s license. The man was arrested and transported to county jail.

A man with a “no bail” arrest warrant ran from an officer. The man eventually surrendered himself to officers and was arrested. The man was transported to county jail.

A woman with an outstanding warrant was contacted by an officer at her residence. She was arrested and transported to the police department for processing and released with a court date.

A resident reported a stranger prowling outside their home. At about 5 am, the resident’s doorbell rang a number of times. The resident refused to answer. Two hours later, the resident looked outside and saw a man peering inside their home and then he walked away. Officers searched the area and were not able to locate the prowler.

Officers were sent on a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, the officers noticed a door on the backside of the home was forced open. The homeowner reported a number of jewelry pieces and electronics items were stolen.

Location: Main St. & El Camino Real
An officer spotted a suspicious man running in the middle of Main St. The officer stopped the man and determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance. The man also possessed methamphetamine and had a felony arrest warrant for drugs. The man was arrested and transported to county jail.

Officers were sent to traffic collision and learned one of the involved drivers had fled. Officers searched for the missing driver and eventually located him hiding near a residence. The officers determined the man was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. The man was arrested and transported to county jail.

Vehicles parked on the El Camino Real and in the Mercado Shopping Center were victim to a number of thefts. Their windows were smashed and valuables stolen. Some of the stolen property was recovered, but no arrest was made.
