Counterfeit Arrest
2515 El Camino Real
Officers were sent to a disturbance at the Granada Inn. On arrival, the officers met with two females. One of the females possessed counterfeit money and she was arrested.

Weapons Arrest
Monroe St. & Lawrence Exwy.
A suspicious vehicle was stopped by an officer. The male driver had an outstanding arrest warrant and he possessed a gun in his waistband. The gun was reported stolen from Texas and the driver was arrested.

Burglary Arrest
1300 Block of Alviso St.
A neighbor reported seeing a suspicious man running from an apartment carrying
property. An officer located the man at a nearby bus stop with the property and detained him. Officers learned the property was stolen from the apartment. The man was arrested.

Stolen Vehicle Arrest
2400 Block of Lafayette St.
Officers were sent to a suspicious man near a vehicle. On arrival, one of the officers attempted to stop the man and he ran toward a vehicle. The man entered the vehicle and accelerated toward the officer. The officer moved from the path of the vehicle to avoid being struck. The man then drove away and refused to yield for officers. The officers pursued the vehicle and also learned the vehicle had been reported stolen from Mountain View. The pursuit ended in the area of First St. & Sonora in San Jose and the man was arrested for possession of drugs, possession of a stolen vehicle, vandalism, and assault on an officer.

A man was arrested for an outstanding “no bail” arrest warrant by Officer Shimada. The man was taken to the county jail.

Katherine Hughes Elementary School
School officials reported a suspicious man on school grounds. The man was trying locked doors to the school and he had entered the girl’s bathroom. On arrival, one of the officers spotted the suspicious man but he ran from the officer. The man is described as a Hispanic male, 5’10” to 6’0”, 200 lbs. to 220 lbs., short black hair, with a tattoo on his neck. The man was wearing a gray sweat shirt and blue jeans. No arrest was made.

Drunk in Public

Officers were sent to a disturbance at the Dollar Store. On arrival, the officers met with a man that was causing the disturbance. The man was unable to care for himself because of the level of his alcohol intoxication. The man was arrested.

Officers conducted a probation search of an apartment and arrested a man and a woman for possession of drugs. They were taken to the county jail.

Officers were sent to a disturbance. On arrival, the officers met with the man causing the disturbance and learned he was wanted by California State Parole. The man was arrested.

Drug Arrest
Granada Ave. & Flora Vista Ave.
A male motorist was stopped for a registration violation. As the officer approached the vehicle the motorist drove away. The officer went back to his vehicle and pursued the motorist a short distance. The man possessed drugs and he was arrested.

Assault Arrest
75 Saratoga Ave.
Officers were sent to a disturbance at the Wienerschnitzel. On arrival, the officers learned that two men argued about one of the men having a dog at the eatery. The argument led to one of the men being physically assaulted by the other. As officers went to arrest the man responsible for the assault, he refused to cooperate with the officers. Eventually the officers were able to control the man and he was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.
