2401 Agnew Road
A man was contacted by officers as he changed a flat tire on his car. He was found to be intoxicated and the flat tire was the result of a minor collision with the curb. The man was on active parole and had a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and taken to jail.

Warrant Arrest
Aldo at Lafayette Street
Two men were stopped by Officer Ogg while driving on Lafayette Street. The driver had a suspended driver’s license and the passenger had an outstanding felony warrant for a parole violation. The driver was cited and the passenger was taken to county jail.

Warrant Arrest
Location: 5101 Great America Parkway
A suspicious female with 2 outstanding arrest warrants was stopped while loitering at the Hyatt Hotel. She was taken to county jail.

Outside Agency Assist
Great America Parkway at Old Mtn. View
Officers from the Regional Auto Theft Task Force requested assistance to apprehend two individuals who were driving in a stolen vehicle. Two of the three males fled from the vehicle and jumped into the area of the San Tomas Aquino Creek. After an exhaustive search in tall weeds and water, the individuals were not located.

Vehicle Burglary
3111 Mission College Blvd.
A parked vehicle was broken into. The victim reported several thousand dollars of electronic equipment taken. No suspects were seen and the investigation is on-going.

Commercial Burglary
3100 block Alfred Street
Unknown suspects broke into a vacant commercial building and damaged walls to remove copper wiring from within. No arrests were made.

Domestic Violence
Location: 4500 block of Cheeney
The victim was assaulted by her boyfriend. The investigation also revealed damage to the victim’s vehicle caused by the suspect. The suspect was later arrested and booked into County Jail.

Officer Nelson made a traffic enforcement stop. During his investigation, he learned the driver was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. The driver was arrested and taken to jail.

Warrant Arrest
Location: 1100 block of Scott Blvd.
Several officers assisted in the serving of a $100K arrest warrant. During the subsequent investigation, a second suspect was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Petty Theft
Location: 3051 Stevens Creek Blvd.
A male selected several items at the Macy’s department store. He concealed them into a bag, and left the store without paying. During the investigation, it was also learned that he had 2 outstanding warrants for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Saturday, July 27th, 2013

Hit & Run Collision
Location: 980 El Camino Real Dr.
Officers were sent to a collision where one of the involved vehicles had fled. The suspect vehicle was located abandoned a few blocks away. Officers searched the area and found the suspect driver who was on active parole. He was arrested for the hit and run, an outstanding warrant and for driving under the influence of alcohol.
