Burglary
Location: 2700 Block of Pruneridge Ave.
Two males spoke with a resident posing as landscapers and discussed the over grown trees in his rear yard. As the resident was distracted talking with one male, the other male went inside the residence through an unsecured sliding door and removed cash. After the burglary, the two males fled east on Pruneridge Ave. This was an obvious ruse by the two males to commit a burglary. One male is described as a Hispanic male, 35 to 40 years old, 5’6” and 150 to 200 Lbs., wide face, heavy build, with a dark-colored goatee. He was last seen a wearing blue-colored shirt and blue jeans. No description was provided for the second male. No arrests were made.

Drug Arrest
Location: Bowers Ave. & Highway 101
A motorist was stopped by Officer Lee for a mechanical violation. During a search of the vehicle methamphetamine was discovered. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail.

A motorist was stopped by Officer Haag for a traffic violation. The driver and his passenger were determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. They were arrested and taken to the county jail.

Traffic Collision
Location: Scott Blvd. & Benton St.
Officers were sent on the report of a rollover collision. Upon arrival, a pick up truck with major damage was laying on one side. The drivers of both vehicles complained of injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Peeping
Location: 1500 Block of Alpine Ave.
A man was looking through the bathroom window when a person was taking a shower and fled when the person screamed. The man is described as a white male, 20 to 22 years wearing a black beanie. No arrests were made.

Robbery
Location: 2760 Homestead Rd.
Safeway security officers attempted to detain a man who left the store without paying for several bottles of liquor. The man pushed a Safeway employee to the ground but was eventually detained by Safeway security. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail.

An unknown person attempted to remove the hot water heater from inside a laundry room.

Warrant Arrest
Location: Halford Dr. & El Camino Real
Officers were sent to a suspicious man holding a screw driver. Upon arrival, Officer Henderson found the man with the screw driver and learned he had two arrest warrants. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Drug Arrest
Location: 990 Clyde Dr.
A suspicious man was stopped by Officer McGuire. The man was under the influence of a controlled substance. He also possessed stolen property taken during a robbery that occurred in another City. The man was arrested and taken to county jail.

Location: 3395 Stevens Creek Blvd.
Officers K. Estes and J. Ogg were sent to a man causing a disturbance at the Jack in the Box. Officers learned the man was wanted by San Jose Police for robbery. The man was turned over to San Jose Police Investigators.

DUI
Location:
4128 Cheeney St.
Officer Pilger was sent to a disturbance and learned a group of 4 to 5 individuals were attempting to stop a motorist from driving his vehicle. Officer Pilger quickly learned the driver was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and the driver was arrested.
