The City of Santa Clara Police Department recently initiated the process of implementing a large-scale upgrade to our Records Management System. When completed, officers will be able to retrieve information from a web browser in their vehicles over wireless access points. They will also be able to retrieve photos of suspects or missing children from these various locations throughout the City. This, along with the implementation of field reporting, should make for a very efficient information system.
