Administrative Services

Often thought of as everything that is not related to Field Operations (Patrol) or Investigations, the Administrative Services Division is responsible for many critical functions that are necessary for the Santa Clara Police Department to be an effective law enforcement agency.
These functions range from the effective organization of our
records section,
recruiting and training new employees, internal affairs, storing of
evidence and property, processing and serving arrest
warrants and the operation of our
Temporary Holding Facility.
Additionally, members of this division provide a myriad of services to the community, including
Crime Prevention,
School Services, the
Police Activities League,
Business & Neighborhood Watch,
Alarms,
Permits,
Citizens Police Academy and
Fingerprinting.
