Parade Permit Info
Please review the below information before submitting your application.
Parades, marches and processions, with the exception of funeral processions, are considered unlawful unless first approved by the Police Department and a permit is issued to the entity representing the event.
All parades, marches, and processions are regulated by Chapter 12.15 of the Santa Clara City Code. Please see this Code for more information.
Additionally, if your event will involve any amplified music or sound, a separate permit must be obtained from Business Tax and License. Please refer to that information found at this link. http://santaclaraca.gov/index.aspx?page=1128

This permit request must be printed out and completed, then mailed to the Police Department at the address on the permit.
