Bicycle riders must obey all traffic laws. All new bicycles must have serial numbers stamped in their frames. This number should be recorded and kept in a safe place at home for use in reporting a stolen bicycle to the police.
It is Against the Law To
- Tamper with, destroy, mutilate, or alter any bicycle license or registration form; or remove, alter, or mutilate the serial number or identification marks on any bicycle frame.
- Ride on any sidewalk in a business district or adjacent to any public school, church, recreation center or playground.
- Ride on handlebars.
- Cling to any moving vehicle while on a bicycle, motorcycle, skates, skateboards, or any toy vehicle.
