The lobby is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., seven days a week. You can reach someone after hours by using the telephone that is located outside of the front of the building. Email messages are generally answered during regular business hours. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
E-mail submissions should only pertain to general inquiries. Any information about a specific emergency, crime, suspicious activity, or disturbance needing the attention of an officer should be reported via 911 (emergency), (408) 615-5580 (non emergency), or (408) 615-4700 (business office and other matters). If your question/comment pertains to an emergency situation, then please call the Department - DO NOT EMAIL. The emails that are sent to "contact us" are only monitored during normal business hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm). Some crimes may be reported using our on line reporting system.
