A Message from the Chief

The Santa Clara Police Department is part of a team effort from your City government to make Santa Clara a pleasant and safe place to live. I am proud to say that your police department is committed to a problem-solving approach to policing that addresses quality of life issues in our community. To me, this means having an open and continuing dialogue with you. With outreach programs such as our Neighborhood Watch, Business Watch, DARE, Volunteers, and the Citizens' Police Academy, we involve our citizens in how policing is done in Santa Clara. In furtherance of this goal, we would like to know how you think we are doing in policing Santa Clara. If you have recently had contact with the Santa Clara Police Department, please take a moment to complete our customer satisfaction survey.
